Changing the bulb in the LCD projector can save the cost of professional installation. It will be important for you to do this thing. The key of doing this is that to install the bulb with the gentle touch in order to avoid breakage or even damaging the connections.

Step 1

You have to remove the access panel that is located at the back of the projector. It may also located on the bottom left of the LCD projector. You can remove the single screw that holds it in the place.

Step 2

Loosen the brass screws on either side at the base of the lamp. You do not need to worry of the screws do not come out fully. Gently tug on the handle attached to the base of the bulb on the LCD projector. If it does not come out easily, loosen the screw a little more.

Step 3

Then you need to pull out your bulb without touching it. The bulb that is from your LCD projector may be hot. Then set it aside. You can use it as the spare.

Step 4

After that you can slide the new bulb into a space where the entire bulb had been, reversing the process of taking it out. You have to make sure that the plug is securely in place. With carefully, you can screw back in the screws on either side at the base of the bulb.

Step 5

Then, wiggle the bulb gently as you are trying to get it in place. Do not ever to force it, for that could damage the connections and also the bulb itself.

Step 6

Close the access panel and then replace the screw. The LCD projector will not work without the access panel.

Step 7

After that you should turn on your LCD projector. If it works, you have replaced the entire bulb properly. If it is not, you can redo the steps 4 trough 6.
